Welcome our NEW District Youth Director, Brooke Hooper!

Most of you may know Brooke under her maiden name, Sanders, or by FishHook, from Captain Rex's Treasure Adventure. Brooke has grown up her entire life in the SWTX District under her family: Billy & Gail Sanders (former District Presbyter), Brandon Rex & Jenifer LaDonna Sanders (former DYD's), and Brent & Jenni Sanders (current Sectional Presbyter). Brooke has travelled and ministered at many PCG churches and camps across our district, state, and even nation, since the Summer of 2013.
 
Brooke has a heart and calling for kids, youth, and family ministry. She was in full-time ministry from 2013 to 2019 with her parents when they were SWTX DYD's, as well as with their family ministry, Captain Rex International. In the Fall of 2019, Brooke transitioned to part-time ministry while she started college at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. While there, she met her now husband, they got married in 2020, and moved to Alaska for three years while her husband served a tour there in the U.S. Coast Guard. While in Alaska they were blessed to have two children.

Brooke and her family moved back to Corpus Christi, TX in the summer of 2023, so she could graduate from TAMUCC with her second degree and so that her husband could also serve his last tour in the U.S. Coast Guard. In the Fall of  2023, Brooke stepped back into full-time ministry with her parents at Trinity Chapel Beeville and Captain Rex International. In the Spring of 2024, Brooke graduated with an AS in Kinesiology and BS in Sport Management, and she also acquired her Ministerial License with the PCG.

Brooke now currently serves as Administrator, Student Ministries Director, and Kids Pastor at Trinity Chapel Beeville in Beeville, TX. She is also the COO and Camp Director for Captain Rex International Ministries. And lastly, Brooke now serves as our SWTX District Youth Director. She is excited to see Impact SWTX grow and thrive again!
